Godmersham Game, a small family run Game Dealers located at Mystole nr Canterbury who have been trading for the past 8 years attending farmers markets in Kent and London. The majority of the game they sell is from within the boundaries of Kent and is all wild. They are the current Taste of Kent Awards “Kent Meat Retailer of the Year” having won this for the past 2 years voted for by their customers.

Cheesemakers of Canterbury – whist I tend to buy most of my cheeses from Macknade, you can go to the Goods Shed where these guys sell direct. I featured Winterdale Shaw at the July supper club, more info here

Ellie’s dairy for wonderful fresh goats’ milk cheese and goat curd which I buy at Macknade or from Cheesemakers of Canterbury

Possibly the best ice-cream I have tasted for years, a great selection of flavours and wonderful texture Simply Ice Cream

Opies – Based in Sittingbourne and producing everything from pickled walnuts to gherkins, syrups for your coffee and cherries for cocktails. Available at most supermarkets. very kindly supplied the walnuts for the menu on 24th November

I often decorate the tables with flowers from my own garden, but when stocks are low I can recommend Jane at Graham Greener in Whitstable and Charlotte at Lotty’s Flowers in Faversham
