Just a quick post to say that the next few dates have been set for supperclubs at Macknade. Summer seems to beginning to appear and so diaries start to get full with holidays and plans so I thought I would get ahead.
I will also be popping up in new spaces and places and will confirm here when they are fixed. as ever if you know of somewhere that might be suitable please let me know via the contact page.
I first met Adelina at a wonderful foodies’ banquet held earlier this year at The Goods Shed and organised by Helen (who at the time I knew only by her Twitter monicker of @forkful). It was that event and noting the ease with which more than 20 strangers sat down to a meal together, that gave me the confidence to start my supperclub. So I was delighted when I finally managed to set a date that Adelina could make. She always writes beautifully and her pictures capture the atmosphere brilliantly.
Canterbury food love story
The menu is fixed and the tasting and testing pretty much done. After dithering between sticky toffee pudding or treacle tart, and following some lobbying on Twitter, you can have both and indeed a third toffee surprise to make up a trio of toffee delights!

Well that may be an all time record. All tickets for the next supperclub were sold in 36 hours. So now the challenge of making it all happen….or as I call it “the fun bit”.
I have been receiving quite a few emails asking to reserve places at the next Supperclub which is fantastic. I thought that it would be useful to let newcomers know how it works.
As the menu is fixed I like people to know what they will be eating before they pay, so I aim to finalise the menu a fortnight beforehand. At that point I will email everyone who has asked to be added to the mailing list and let you know how to book.
Hope that helps
